Kia ora from Carolyn,
Over the last week we have been reminded of the power of people standing in solidarity, the power of people literally moving together. There are so many images, videos and kind words flooding our information environment demonstrating people’s care for each other, and people taking action for what is right and just.
It has reminded us of how important it is for The Workshop to find ways to contribute and demonstrate our care and support for those working towards a more just and inclusive Aotearoa. It has been a year of uncertainty and constraints for many in our community and we want to offer something tangible and hopeful as the year draws to a close.
This is why we’ve decided to extend our scholarship offer for our Introduction to Framing and Narratives training so more people can use framing as a tool to deepen understanding and unlock change.
We invite anyone working towards a more just and inclusive Aotearoa to apply for a scholarship for our December in-person training in Wellington, reducing the cost to $250 plus GST. Applying is as simple as completing an online form. Applications for this extended scholarship round will close November 24.
The 1-day training will be held on Thursday 5 December in Wellington. It is followed on Friday 6 December by a half-day training on Tactics to Respond to False Information. To access one of the discounted places for false information training please enter GRASSROOTS as the voucher code when registering.
You can find more information about the trainings and what to expect on our registration pages:
